- Office Environment.ย If you have an office, create a cool office environment where it is fun to come to work. This can include everything from dress code to office environment.
- Flexible schedule.ย If you assume everyone is going to be working hard, make where and when he or she work as flexible can you can. This might include flexible work from home policies or later starting hours to help employees avoid commuting traffic.
- Bring Services to the Office.ย Bring in a series of services that makes life more convenient for employees. This might include in office day care or on site car washing and detailing.
- Dogs Allowed.ย Encourage employees to bring dogs to the office.
- Personal Development.ย Help employees develop skills that they want and need like executive and life coaching or financial literacy.
- Leadership Initiatives.ย Formal initiatives around personal growth, women’s initiatives and developing entrepreneurial skills.
- Peer Nominations and Awards.ย Award teammates for solving a problem, designing a game, demonstrating innovation and exhibiting behaviors.
They won’t all work for your company, and you can decide which ones are free and which ones employees pay for, but use your entrepreneurial creativity to give employees more bang for their buck.
