# Ask Your Friends for Help The Right Way. [#DailyPerspective]

We all have friends and family who offer to help us in our businesses. Unfortunately, we don’t take advantage of these valuable offers in a way that really helps our business. To do it right, think about a specific need you have that is small and focused but that can help you.
 
> ## If you do this right, you can get an army chipping away at the many things on your plate.
 
It could be researching a market or some competitors. It could be looking over your contracts. It could be letting you pitch your investment proposal. They key is to make sure you define a specific, focused task that is small enough for them to spend the time to do it right and that you set up a goal and a due date. Just like with any other resources, if you do this right, you can get an army chipping away at the many things on your plate.
