Many of us entrepreneurs often struggle with the idea of selling – of trying to convince potential customers to purchase their product or service. It’s not that they don’t believe in our product or service, it’s just that we feel like washing their mouth out when they thinking about “being a salesperson.”

 If you really believe in your product or service, aren’t you really just helping them understand how you can help them?

Well of course we know that companies exist and grow if they generate revenue. So how do we get over this disgusting impression of sales. Think of it this way. If you really believe in your product or service, aren’t you really just helping them understand how you can help them – that once they experience your offering, their lives will be better. Imagine if you were a pregnant Mom and didn’t know about this great pre-natal exercise class. Wouldn’t you welcome the opportunity to learn of a great one? If you believe that your offering helps your customers, you are not selling at all – just letting them know what they are missing.
